Overview
A strategic trading card game where you command an army of lobster warriors! Reduce your opponent's Life Points from 8000 to 0 to win.
Card Types
- Monster Cards — Summon creatures to attack and defend. They have ATK (attack) and DEF (defense) values and a Level (stars).
- Spell Cards — Magical effects: Normal, Continuous, Equip, Swift, Field, and Ritual types.
- Trap Cards — Set face-down and activate when conditions are met to surprise your opponent.
Tide Energy
- Start: 5 energy on turn 1, +3 each turn. Unused energy carries over!
- Summon/Set monster: 2 energy
- Spell/Trap: 1 energy
- Attack (per monster): 1 energy
- Extra Draw: 2 energy for 1 card
- Search Deck: 10 energy to pick any card from your deck
- No fixed phases — do any action in any order!
Mechanics
- Molt: Crustacean monsters can molt — DEF halved for 1 turn, then permanently +500 ATK
- Burrow: When attacked, a monster can burrow underground to dodge — once per monster. Resurfaces next turn with +300 ATK
- Coral Reef: Your reef grows each turn you have monsters (max 5). Reef 2: +100 ATK. Reef 3: bonus draw every other turn. Reef 5: revive a monster once per duel!
- Predator Chain: Summoning a natural predator while the opponent has prey on field gives +500 ATK and immediate attack
- Ink Cloud: Cephalopod monsters can deploy ink once per duel — hides your entire field for 1 turn
- Shell Armor: Some monsters have Shell points. In DEF position, Shell absorbs excess damage instead of destroying the monster. Shell decrements with each hit.
- Tide Counter: A momentum gauge between players. Destroying opponent monsters shifts the Tide in your favor. At +3, your monsters gain +200 ATK.
- Depth Charge: Special traps with a countdown timer. They auto-activate when the timer hits 0. Destroy them before they detonate!
Summoning
- Level 1-4 monsters: Normal Summon (2 energy)
- Level 5-6 monsters: Tribute 1 monster (2 energy)
- Level 7+ monsters: Tribute 2 monsters (2 energy)
- Fusion: Use "Shell Fusion" + listed materials
- Surge: Conduit + non-Conduit(s) whose levels equal the Surge monster's level
- Ritual: Use a Ritual Spell + tributes matching the level
Battle
- ATK vs ATK: Lower ATK destroyed, owner takes damage equal to the difference
- ATK vs DEF: If ATK > DEF, defender destroyed (no damage). If DEF >= ATK, attacker takes damage equal to the difference
- Direct Attack: If opponent has no monsters, attack their Life Points directly
FFA Mode (4-Player Free-For-All)
- How to Start: In Battle Setup select FFA mode, or tap FFA BATTLE in the Multiplayer lobby. Empty seats are filled by NPCs.
- Turn Order: Turns cycle through all 4 players. Each player gets a full turn (draw, summon, attack, end) before the next goes.
- Target Selection: On your turn, use the opponent tabs above the field to switch which opponent you're viewing. Whichever tab is active is who you'll attack when you declare battle.
- NPC Strategy: NPCs choose targets strategically — they prioritize wounded opponents, open fields, weaker boards, and gang up on the leading player.
- Elimination: When a player's LP hits 0, they're eliminated and their field is cleared. The game continues until one player remains.
- Win Condition: Be the last player standing! Eliminate all 3 opponents to win.
- NPC vs NPC: When NPCs attack each other, combat resolves instantly. You'll see the results in the duel log.
- Chat: Use the collapsible chat panel at the bottom to send messages during FFA duels. NPCs will react to the battle and occasionally respond to you.
